Project Life: Summer Babe By Papercakes from Serena Bee

Hey Everyone! Today I have some fun project life pages using the Summer Babe Collection from Papercakes by Serena Bee. The first thing that I thought when I saw the collection was Saved By The Bell Intro. Which I absolutely LOVE! Another thing I love about this collection is the fact that it has purple!

You can buy this collection by pieces or get the whole thing and get a super fun bonus mini kit! The collection is really graphic and it has lots of pretty pastels and ombre patterns.

The Summer Babe Elements has these cute little hearts. I copied them and then put a lot of them in a Silhouette document so I can add them all around my pages. I also like to add little words on my photos and the elements page has a bunch of fun summer sayings.

When I saw this card I knew that it would be a title card! I just love it! It has a cool background so I didn't have to add too much. I did use the tiny hearts and the tag from the Summer Babe Elements. The alphas are from Pinkfresh Studio.

These White Puffy Script Alphas are from Freckled Fawn. The pink alphas are from Momenta. I tried to add some old things from my stash because I have my embellishments in drawers by colors and I tend to forget about them.

That cute bathing suit journaling card is an exclusive that comes in the Bonus Mini Collection that you can get when you buy the Summer Babe Full Collection.

These cute bathing suits are in the element page. When I journal I like papers with a subtle background so I can read my journaling. I used one of the beautiful ombre patterns in the collection.

This week I had a lot of photos and I wanted to include this ticket and the movie poster. I used a Flip Pocket from Simple Stories. I fused around the movie ticket and added sequins when I was done I fused the whole pocket. After I was done with my Fuse Tool I glued the pocket on the page protector.

How cool does this looks?! And the movie was really good!

Project Life with Freckled Fawn

Hey Everyone! This is Jennie! Today I'm sharing these pocket pages I made using Project Life cards and products from Freckled Fawn. The majority of the Oh Deer Me Kits are very fun and bright so they go perfect with these cards.

When I started my Freckled Fawn addiction I was all about the washi but now the alpha stickers are way up there with washi!

Another thing I love is enamel dots! When they are shaped like these Enamel Hearts Stickers I get crazy excited! This week was really busy with lots of colors and photos! Sometimes I go a little overboard so I stopped myself before it was way too busy!

In this title card I managed to put all my favorite things: washi tape, puffy alphas, enamel hearts and word stickers.

Whenever I run out of letters I have to get creative. I love these Yellow Puffy Script Alpha Stickers but I ran out of e's so I turned a "w" to the side.

Sometimes I like to leave white spaces in my photos so I can add embellishments in my project life spread. The Yellow Puffy Script Alpha Stickers are from the May Oh Deer Me Kit but the rest of the embellishments I used are from the June Embellishment Kit. I like how I can mix everything from my kits with items I already own or want to buy.

I love acetate pieces and Freckled Fawn makes them so well! These Large Acetate Numbers are super cute! I like the colors, patterns and 70's vibe. To glue this ampersand I used the Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue.

Speaking of gorgeous acetate pieces, I loved these Acetate Frames from the April Kit. In the last layout I made I only used them in photos but they framed the "Enjoy the Ride" card so well! I might need to get a second pack because I already used the white and light blue frames.

Kids' drawings are a really good way to demonstrate in which stage kids are right now. If you don't have kids you can ask the important kids in your life to make a portrait of you. Kids always focus on one thing about you and the rest fits their aesthetic. For example, my daughter always draws me with glasses.
I hope you enjoyed these pages and some of the ideas I showed! Remember to share your creations with us in the Freckled Fawn Fanatics Facebook Group.

April Lilli: Traveler's Notebook with On A Whim

Hi Everyone! I have another project using the On A Whim Collection. You can get this collection at the April Lilli Shop! I made a Traveler's Notebook Spread.

I like my TN spreads to be light so I don't use a lot of pattern paper. I used the Tombow TwinTones Dual Tip Markers to doodle tiny stars on the white space. I used the branding strips of the paper to layer. The "Kind of the Best" quote is from the Seriously Paper

I used the Tombow Dual Brush Pens to put color on the Water Color Resist Tags. I scribbled the color in a Blending Palette, sprayed water and picked it up with the tag. I LOVE the On A Whim Sticker Book it has these cute hearts and the flowers and a lots of other things!

The "Sweet Things" heart came in the Oh A Whim Ephemera Pack. I love to use ephemera on Traveler's Notebooks! I also made a little die cut cloud with the Confetti and Keep Your Cool.
I hope you enjoyed this quick Traveler's Notebook spread using this super fun collection!

Tombow USA and Lawn Fawn Blog Hop

Hello! Today the Tombow USA Design Team and Lawn Fawn Design Team are teaming up to bring you a lot of awesome inspiration!

At the bottom of my post, you'll find the lineup for the rest of the hop - make sure you check out everyone's projects! And don't forget to visit the Tombow USA blog to enter to win some fantastic prizes from Tombow and Lawn Fawn! Happy hopping!

For my project I made a project life spread. I used the Tombow Mini Power Glue Tape for papers and embellishments.

To stamp the numbers on the photos I used the Quinn's 123s Stamp Set.

The 3x4 journaling cards are from Freckled Fawn. The purple paper is from Shimelle and the cloud paper is a really old Lawn Fawn paper that I've been hoarding because I like it a lot!

A few months ago I shared how to make your own alphas using dies. I kept what was left of some of them. I made my alphas using washi tape. I used the Finley's ABCs Dies to make them. I backed this piece of paper with patterned paper from Shimelle. Since washi tape it's a tricky surface I used the Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive to glue the embellishments on top. I drew lines in the 19 with the NEW Pastel Tombow TwinTone Dual Tip Markers.

To journal about my photos I put a number on the photos. That way I can squeeze many stories in one card without getting confusing. To stamp these numbers I used Quinn's 123s Stamp Set.

To glue the acetate pieces I used the Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue.

I made a little window in this card using the Outside In Stitched Circle Lawn Cut. I love the little stiches around the window. That little clouds paper is one of my top 5 favorite patterns ever! I've been hoarding it for years! It was from a fall paper pad from Lawn Fawn. The little heart is a felt heart embellishment I made with an older Lawn Fawn die. I have a little box full of them. They are little great embellishments to add to any project. To glue them I used the Tombow MONO Multi XL Liquid Glue.

I love how this floating embellishment inspired by Inkie Quill turned out. I put this embellishment on top of a piece of plastic or acetate using the  Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive. The circle is from the Outside In Stitched Circle Lawn Cut and the cloud is made with the Simple Puffy Cloud Frames.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Project Life: On A Whim with April Lilli

Hi Everyone! This month on the April Lilli Shop the featured collection is On A Whim by Amy Tangerine! I am super excited because I am a big Amy Tangerine Fan and the colors in this collection are so fun and gorgeous!

I am still catching bits from my 2016 album and I knew I wanted to use the In Good Company Paper with those fun 3x3 squares.

For the 3x4 pockets I used the Good Stuff Paper. I like using the patterns strips at the bottom of the paper. I almost use it as washi to create layers.

The Puffy Letter Thickers from this collection are so freaking cute!! Next to the title card I have a photo of a book my daughter was reading that week. I also used the Read Stamp from Elle's Studio which I love to use to document everything my family reads!

I can't stop reading the "Wicked Smart" card with a Boston accent! LOL The 2 photos next to it were taken by my 3 years old daughter. I like to include some of the photos my daughters take in my album even though a few of them are blurry. They show their life from their perspective. They aren't perfect but they tell a story. On my Project Life stories are very important!

The On A Whim Sticker Book is everything!!! It has a lot of fun phrases, images and alpha stickers!

The alphas in the On A Whim Sticker Book are white so you can use them on top of dark photos like I did the photo of my daughter lining up Shopkins on my dresser. I added little lower stickers to the cacti and I like how it looks! This line is so colorful! I love it!

During the month of June you can get On A Whim by Amy Tangerine for 20% OFF! Yay! This is THE Summer Collection you need to document your fun Summer days and vacations!
I hope you enjoyed these pocket pages!
